I started crafting as a business quite by accident in 2012. I was diagnosed with Lupus in 2007 and I was struggling to work a full time job, so I went part-time. To help supplement our family income, I decided to try selling DIY decals for lighted glass blocks at a local craft show. I took the remaining overstock and opened a shop on Etsy. It exploded! So much in fact, that I was able to quit my outside the home job and concentrate solely on my Etsy shop. By 2015 most of my sales were custom orders and I decided to shift my focus to selling the SVGs as the selling market for decals became oversaturated. I designed under the name of "Vinyl and Vectors" at My Vinyl Designer and in 2018 I rebranded to "Dezartisan" which is a combination of the words "Designer" and "Artisan"!
